Where art thou Romeo?Micro games can be really fun. They are usually very portable and can take almost no time to play. The big daddy of this genre is, of course, Love Letter. I think this was the game that really brought the genre to the forefront. Our newest Kickstarter of the Week adds their spin on the micro game genre in the form of Where Art Thou, Romeo? Produced by Crash Games, Where Art Thou, Romeo? was originally released as a stretch goal for their Council of Verona kickstarter a while back. Crash Games has now decided to spin this off into its own, fast moving, kickstarter campaign. There are two things I really like about this campaign. The first is that it’s a pay what you want campaign. With a $1 minimum, this game is in everyone’s budget. The second is that it will arrive in time for Christmas so you have an easy stocking stuffer for someone. So with all that in mind, what’s the game actually about?

From the Kickstarter Page

Where art thou Romeo?Where Art Thou Romeo? is a nanogame in which 3-5 players take turns taking on the role of Juliet, who is attempting to find Romeo amongst the others players. Each card, other than Juliet, has two different roles from which to choose. Players holding these cards choose one of the two roles, which will subsequently make them want to convince the Juliet player that they either are or are not Romeo or perhaps point out who they think Romeo might be.

The game lasts 3-5 rounds depending upon the number of players with each player taking on the role of Juliet once. The player with the most influence points at the end of the game wins.

I always enjoy a good deduction and bluffing game so I’m excited to try this one out. As I said earlier, this is a pay what you want campaign (minimum $1) and it scheduled to be in backer’s hands before Christmas. There are no stretch goals or complicated reward tiers, it’s just a quick and easy Kickstarter campaign to get this in the hands of gamers. You have until
